Volunteers are critical to New Hope’s ministry.
Volunteering at New Hope is a very rewarding experience and can be life changing. We need volunteers in lots of different ways. Here’s what one family had to say about their recent time at New Hope where they helped in some much needed painting and cleaning around the office:
“This past Friday our small group from church volunteered at the New Hope Center. We were looking forward to going as a family and helping any way we could, but had not anticipated the wonderful conversations we had in the car on the way. As we sought to explain what the New Hope Center was about, our four children (age 8 to 2) were asking excellent questions about male/female relationships, marriage, and babies. What a blessing it was to not only share with them God’s truth about these topics, but to see and hear their gracious and sincere responses. Thank you for stirring up such an important discussion and the opportunity to serve you tangibly as you minister to so many lives.”
Lay counseling, mentor mom’s, phone counseling, prayer support, church liaison, fund raising, special event planning, computer support, administrative duties, receptionist, cleaning, and maintenance support are always needed.
